Let Sadness Pass...

Dear Lea Michele,

I hated Rachel Berry on Glee. I remember watching the show while writhing under my breath every time your character goes on. I hated that Rachel was snotty and everything else annoying... but, that made me like you, Lea. For you to annoy the hell our of every single person watching the show would just prove how much of a good actor you are. I commend you for that. You really know your way around people's annoyed bones. LOL!

I couldn't help but think that you had the perfect life one could wish for. A successful career, a comfortable lifestyle and a loving partner. (See, that's where I envied you most, Lea. You have Cory Morteith). Life, it seemed to me, was working well for you. Until this day, July 14, 2013.

Real love is hard to find. Be it for ordinary people or for famous ones. It's that one thing that you want to hold onto and never let go. I found my love and I can't imagine letting his hand go not now, not ever.

Lea, I don't know how it is to be in your shoes right now. Grieving and moving on both go through a process, a process that only you could do for yourself. For being so strong in this moment made me admire you more as a person and not just a celebrity who acts but a person who is hurting. Life can be cruel some times but it can also be good. It's just how we want to see things. You had Cory, and for me, that's all that matters. He may have taken the midnight train going anywhere, but deep down, know in your heart that he was, and forever will be, yours.

I lost a loved one too. 3 years and 1 month ago to be exact.  Losing someone so dear too soon could make you question everyone around you. Like you, he was also taken from me a little too soon. Like you, I was never given a chance to bid him farewell. Maybe, because if I was given that chance, I probably won't let him go. I may even put up the toughest fight for that. But life has its way of getting through us. There was nothing I could do but to cry, and mourn, and grieve even more. It was the darkest time of my life. I let that time take me down deep.

Standing back up and walking away from that desert seemed the hardest thing to do but also the ONLY thing I MUST do. People will be there to help you, to sympathize, empathize, and cry with you. Though, it will only be through you that could help find your light after this night time.

I like to think that he is the star that shines brightest in the night sky, or the gentle breeze that grazes me in the morning, or that tiny spark of hope in my heart that opens my eyes to a new grand day. Laugh when you want to, smile when words run out, and dance when that's all there is to do.

Life is full of possibilities for you, for me and for everybody. Just have the cleverness to seek the possibilities in all corners life is presenting to us.

Cory, like what you said on your interview, has made you feel full of life. Let that be Cory's legacy for you. To always have the fullest life could offer. To be full of love, laughters and smiles. It is not wrong to try to be happy again. Life, gives us enough time to heal our own wounds. And one day, when you're ready again, you'll find yourself embracing life with arms wide open. Wide enough that the world would just be walking beside you smiling.

You haven't reached the end, Lea. We'll stand by you.

Sincerely,
Someone who lost a loved one...
